Malta Desert

Inspired by the naturally-occurring salt pans on the Maltese coast,  our new Malta bath rug combines the flat weave of a kilim rug with high-pile plushness. Its high-contrast texture and tonal color is both playful and simple, perfect for every space.   The gridded pattern dries in a flash, and we added a thin layer of latex on the back so it won’t slide around in your space. 

Lisa and Michael started the studio because bath mats and shower curtains were things you needed and rarely loved. Canvas curtains are still sewn in Brooklyn. Color stories now pick up California light, too.

We only make daily objects: curtains, towels, rugs, hampers, organizers. Partners are chosen for accountability, kindness, and materials we can stand next to.
