Lost Coast Holiday

Introducing The Lost Coast, our first high-pile bath rug designed with an undulating shape to fit in small spaces. Each end is tapered or rounded to make room for bathroom fixtures and swinging doors. And while the rest of the rug carries an organic shape, the back side of Lost Coast can nest right against a tub or shower.

We added a very thin layer of latex to the back to prevent from slipping. Our bath rugs are made in India at a family-run, artisan factory and are hand-woven by master weavers. We use 100% certified BCI cotton (sustainably sourced).

Lisa and Michael started the studio because bath mats and shower curtains were things you needed and rarely loved. Canvas curtains are still sewn in Brooklyn. Color stories now pick up California light, too.

We only make daily objects: curtains, towels, rugs, hampers, organizers. Partners are chosen for accountability, kindness, and materials we can stand next to.
