Introducing our very first naturally-dyed collection made from 100% up-cycled cotton canvas.
This set of napkins were dyed by Sonoma, California-based artist and chef, Ashley Arsenan of A Farmer and Her Flowers.
We met ashley on a Quiet TownP shoot, she was a friend of a friend, and we quickly learned of her many talents, namely her skill with natural dyes. Each piece was dyed in Sonoma this October during harvest season. All pieces are one-of-a-kind and will vary slightly in color and consistency. There are color “highs and low”s similar to a tie-dye. These variances are part of the natural beauty of hand-dyed objects.
Sold in a set of 2
Details:
20″x20″ hand-dyed using Madder Root
Care:
Wash in cold water with like colors. Tumble dye or line dry. Iron when needed.
Lisa and Michael started the studio because bath mats and shower curtains were things you needed and rarely loved. Canvas curtains are still sewn in Brooklyn. Color stories now pick up California light, too.
We only make daily objects: curtains, towels, rugs, hampers, organizers. Partners are chosen for accountability, kindness, and materials we can stand next to.
US orders $100 and over ship for $5. Parcels typically leave within a business day, Monday–Friday. Unused items can be returned within 15 days — write [email protected] to start one. Sun Shower curtains are exchange-only; a $5 swatch card applies toward the curtain.
